Kimberly G. Cherry, CFRE
Kim Cherry, CFRE, has two decades of successful management and fundraising experience for philanthropic organizations.
She enjoys a solid reputation for her analytical skills, planning and leading development and marketing programs for government, health, human services and education organizations. Her expertise includes direct response marketing, major gifts prospect research, Raiser’s Edge software, annual giving programs and volunteer training and development.
A native of Texas, Kim performed for more than a decade with Ballet El Paso. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from Texas Tech University and an MBA from the University of Texas El Paso.
Before joining Young & Company in 2006, Kim directed the annual giving program for Scottsdale Healthcare Foundation and served in several positions with Junior Achievement, the American Red Cross, and the California State Fair.
She has lead two trips sponsored by the US Agency for International Development and the Peace Corps to El Salvador and Russia, training high school teachers on incorporating free enterprise in classroom curriculum.
Kim and her husband have one son and own two Baskin Robbins franchises. She volunteers her time at her son’s school and in leadership positions in her church.
